Kyro launches AI-powered investing platform for retail investors
  • Kyro aggregates data from more than 250 exchanges, wallets, and brokerages into a single platform.

  • Built-in AI features analyze individual holdings and answer questions using personal portfolio data.

  • Subscription tiers start at $12 per month, with mobile apps currently on the roadmap.

Kyro launched its AI-driven investing platform to the public on Thursday, giving retail investors a unified workspace to oversee stocks, exchange-traded funds, cryptocurrencies, and cash balances.

Based in London, the platform integrates portfolio tracking, market research capabilities, and AI analysis for individual holdings.

The platform is designed for investors whose assets are scattered across various brokerages, pensions, crypto exchanges, and digital wallets, which often makes evaluating overall market risk difficult.

“Most people have no real idea what they own or what they are exposed to. Nobody should need a finance degree or a Bloomberg Terminal to invest well,” said David Merry, Kyro’s co-founder and CEO.

Connecting portfolios across financial platforms

The AI platform allows users to sync over 250 brokers, exchanges, and wallets, including services like Fidelity, Vanguard, Schwab, Robinhood, Interactive Brokers, eToro, Binance, Coinbase, OKX, and MetaMask.

Investors can also add portfolio details manually using CSV file uploads or screenshots.

Positions, balances, and performance metrics from linked accounts update in real time to deliver a consolidated view of an investor’s overall assets across multiple providers.

Kyro aims to eliminate fragmented asset tracking while bringing institutional-grade research tools to everyday investors.

AI research based on investors’ holdings

Kyro’s AI functionality enables users to submit plain-language questions and receive custom responses and visualizations derived directly from their holdings.

For instance, investors can measure their total exposure to a tech sector downturn across their ETF holdings or benchmark their portfolio’s three-month performance against Bitcoin.

“The first wave of investing apps made it easy to buy and sell. The next wave puts the power of a professional research desk in everyone’s pocket, so anyone can understand what they own and invest with real confidence. We’re building the place where everyday investors finally get the same edge as Wall Street,” Merry said.

The platform features a native assistant named KyroAI, alongside access to over 100 external AI models, including ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Grok.

Through its Model Context Protocol (MCP) connector, users can query their underlying portfolio data using their preferred third-party AI software.

Kyro offers all account holders free access to more than 30 years of historical price records, financial statements, regulatory filings, insider trading data, and analyst price targets across global stocks, ETFs, and digital assets.

Additional tools include asset screeners, custom market alerts, and news feeds tailored directly to the assets in a user’s portfolio.

Subscription plans and upcoming features

Kyro provides a free tier alongside Premium and Master paid plans, which cost $12 and $25 per month, respectively, when billed annually. Both paid options include a seven-day free trial.

The company intends to roll out automated AI agents that can execute transactions subject to user authorization.

Upcoming features on the company’s product roadmap include dedicated iOS and Android mobile applications, market trend insights explaining why specific securities are trending on X and Reddit, and optional public investor profiles with performance leaderboards.
