- REAL Finance has broadened access to its $ASSET token for eligible users on Kraken EU.
- The $ASSET token facilitates transaction fees, network security, staking, and onchain governance within the ecosystem.
- The project is aiming to tokenize more than €3.5 billion in assets across Europe.
Eligible users in Europe can now access the native $ASSET token from REAL Finance following its launch on Kraken EU.
This integration provides European market participants with increased access to the token as REAL Finance continues to construct its infrastructure for tokenized real-world financial assets.
Headquartered in Sofia, Bulgaria, the firm noted that this expanded availability builds upon the token’s existing presence on Kraken, extending its reach specifically through the exchange’s European Union division.
Within the REAL Finance ecosystem, the $ASSET token plays several crucial roles. It is utilized for settling transaction fees, participating in staking, safeguarding the network, and voting in onchain governance decisions.
This geographic expansion aligns with growing European demand for specialized infrastructure capable of supporting tokenized financial assets.
Network targets institutional RWA market
REAL Finance is constructing a dedicated Layer 1 blockchain tailored for tokenized real-world financial assets. Its custom infrastructure is built to manage the entire lifecycle of financial products, spanning issuance, management, distribution, and settlement.
To establish its institutional ecosystem in Europe, the network is collaborating with regulated financial entities and infrastructure providers. Among these partners is Wiener Privatbank, an Austrian banking institution overseen by the Austrian Financial Market Authority (FMA).
Wiener Privatbank contributes to the ecosystem by handling custody, asset structuring, reserve management, and institutional distribution. Together, the companies are aiming to bring more than €3.5 billion in assets onto the blockchain through the REAL Finance network.
The overarching goal of the project’s infrastructure is to bridge the gap between traditional regulated institutions, custodians, and counterparties and blockchain-powered financial markets.
By securing a listing on Kraken EU, REAL Finance offers eligible European users an additional pathway to acquire $ASSET as the company scales the institutional use cases of its blockchain technology.
REAL Finance focuses on Onchain Capital Markets
Ivo Grigorov, CEO of REAL Finance, emphasized the importance of Europe as the company designs infrastructure to link regulated financial institutions with decentralized capital markets.
“Europe is a key market for REAL Finance as we build the infrastructure connecting regulated financial institutions with onchain capital markets,” Grigorov stated. “Expanding access to $ASSET through Kraken EU gives more participants in the region a way to engage with the network as that institutional ecosystem grows.”
According to the company, its technology covers the entire lifecycle of tokenized financial assets, from initial issuance and custody to final settlement and potential secondary-market trading.
Ultimately, the project is centered on establishing an institutional-grade, onchain capital markets ecosystem designed for managing, tokenizing, and settling real-world assets.
By making $ASSET accessible to eligible Kraken EU users, REAL Finance aims to pair broader token availability with the ongoing expansion of its institutional network in Europe. The company’s core strategy remains focused on migrating regulated financial assets and capital market operations onto the blockchain.
